hi only had this car a few days it drives spot on its just got a rough tick over causing a shacking through out the car.

Could be something simple as plugs or the valves need re-seating, does it tick over too slow? I would try a service first. Some Renault coil packs are prone to failing. I assume its petrol? Try running the car with the bonnet open in the dark and look for escaping sparks, if its diesel, I am currently using a focus diesel, its an awesome engine but has a very lumpy idle. I just live with it and its not given me any hastle in the time I've had it.
