2004 Renault Megane help ecu issue

Hi all new to site I have a huge problem with my Megan I stupidly purchased it as a non runner and it had a electrical fault so we changed fuse box and she started but car is in some sort of limp mode and the ecu thinks it has a cam shaft sensor but it don't can the ecu have a fault or god knows what to do now I live in west mids does any one know where to get a ecu flashed or fixed cheap or a open ecu

Hi. Firstly well done for getting it running, I would check firstly if the engine has been changed to Use a different type cam sensor, or a different ECU or even the fuse box you changed has different arrangement of wires, check numbers to see if ECU is correct for car and age, then I would do a continuity test on the cam wires all the way to the ECU, try Google,ing to see if anyone else has had the same Renault issue too.
