2006 Renault Megane clunking noise when moving, steering, braking, going over speed bumps

I have noticed what can only be described as a "clunking" noise when my car moves. It doesn't happen constantly, but it it does when I brake or turn a corner etc. I took it Renault and they did an examination for £85.00 and reported to me that it was the sub-frame.
I asked if it was likely to cause an accident or be dangerous and they said no. They did say that over time the noise will get worse :(

Sounds to be more like a spring problem. Check the front springs for any cracks or broken ends...
