2000 Renault Megane megan wipers and radio / clock not working, electrics?

When i started the car this morning the wipers won't turn on (back one working) My husband has checked all the fuses and states they are all fine. However now the radio / clock / temperature bit in the middle is out. No lights or radio etc not working. He thinks it could be to do with the electrics. Could the two be linked? Any ideas? Thank you.

i d re check the fuses , most of the time a single fuse will operate more than one item such as the clock and the radio
