1999 Renault Megane noise from 1st to 2nd

Variant: Coupe 2.0 16v

I have noticed a noise happening the past few days when I'm starting from 1st into 2nd (at traffic lights etc), the only way I can describe it is a clunking like noise. It sounds as is if it is coming from below the pedals but doesn't seem to happen in any other gear.......... going on hol on Tue, is it driveable up until then?

you have more torque in the lower gears which will move the engine more, i suspect you have a failing engine mount or suspension bush or joint.
