2000 Renault Megane steering jerk

I have a jerk on the steering only when starting to turn to the right , like the steering wheel turns then a second later the wheels jump to catch up , there is no problem turning left ,

Could check the steering column universal joint / coupling .Not sure what is fitted on that year .
