2004 Renault Clio rev counter and speedo showing 4x higher

started last night, nothing odd on the car's behavior. The rev counter and the speedo was showing about 4x higher.
i.e. on fifth gear, at 50km/h, it was showing 200km/h.
While the trip computer didn't respond to the buton. It was stuck on the car's full mileage.
Tried the test mode, everything worked fine in there, but when on normal mode again, nothing changed.

Could be cluster fault ,
