2000 Renault Clio water leaking in through light

The problem occures when its been badly raining, at first i noticed my leg got wet because the inside corner of the seat was soaked and then i noticed water dripping from the light inside the car, ive took the light out and tightened the nut on the back of the ariel because i thought thats where the water was getting in, it worked for a short period of time but its started happening again. Can anybody help?

remove the aerial and smear some sealant around the aerial base and refit this will seal up any chances of it leaking again
