2003 Renault Clio engine doesnt start

hello i have had my clio for 3 years now and recnelty in the 3 months or so my car sometimes doesnt start, especially if i have driven it around then left it for an hour and then while the engine is still warm it doesnt start. i have to you easy start and spray it into the filter??? im not sure but then the car starts. sometimes when idleing the car also cutts out too. could someone please give me some advice in what i need to do to stop this problem for happening.? many thanks.pete

When was car last serviced ? Check plugs , air filter , tdc sensor , coil pack ,idle air control valve (IACV) etc .

serviced about a year ago. someone was telling me it could be that a sensor needs replacing? its intermitant, sometimes happens sometimes doesnt. only seems to happen if engine is warm. havent checked my oil for about 6 months either?

If you haven't checked oil for six months I would suggest you do it now and also check other points already mentioned on other post .
