1998 Renault Clio passenger door won't open

Variant: 1.2 Grande RN
i just brought my renault clio, and everything was working fine. however, one day out of no where, the passenger door wouldnt open from the inside. i don't know whether its the child lock or not. if it is, does anyone know how to disable it?

you do not say if you can open from out side take you can when door is open look under lock of door will be a small leaver or screw that will be child lock turn screw or move leaver.
