does anybody know about my clio missfire i've put new spark plugs coil ht leads on and been told it could be the ecu unit does anybody know if this could be true and can they be tested thankyou

It is possible that it is the ecu but could be several other things.If you have replaced the ignition system then check for air intake leaks/vacum leaks then check you are getting good fuel pressure as possibly dirty fuel filter or pump.I would tend to check all the wiring connections especially in about the ecu as these are more likely to cause the problem than the ecu itself.
