1999 Renault Clio petrol light

I've filled up the car and half a mile down the road the petrol warning light has come back on and there is no way I've used the petrol I've just put in, so can only assume the light is faulty, how do I get it fixed?

Sounds like tank unit / fuel sender faulty .
