Non starter

Had my clio garaged for bout 6 months,replaced the flat battery as it hasnt been running.nw it wont turn over and the lights on the dash only flicker on thn off when i turn the ignition
any ideas?

sounds like it may be the battery again or battery connections try getting it jump started and then check the alternater output
