2003 Renault Clio service and air bag lights on

My service light and air bag light on dash board is constantly on. Anyone know what this might be for? read manual and air bag shouldnt need servicing until 10th year?

means there is a fault with air bag system, codes must be read to find fault doesnt have to be main dealer.prob contact coil assy but read codes first .serv light prob only on becaust ab light on,note system wont work in an accident so get it looked at asap

hold trip reset button then turn key to 3rd click then clocks will do a system check then just press button again to stop. lights should go off. if this fails try banging the passenger seat back and forth as air bag switch is underneath it.
