are the carpets wet?
does the heater blow only cold/tepid air?
are you getting puddles under the vehicle?
if not, then i suspect head gasket failure.

check on bottom of timing belt covers see if there are any water stains if so water pump is leaking,if not look for any other external leaks with engine running at when not running with system hot

yh had the same problem for my clio. My water pump was slowly leaking without me realising, and then slowly but surely i was topping my car up with water more and more often. Then the water pump stopped working completely, hence no water making it to my engine and other parts. This has no resulted in my head gasket cracking and the head to my engine is most likely damaged too. Therefore i would STRESS that you DONT drive the car until you get the leak sorted because you will only damage the head and head gasket which is what i have ended up doing lol =[
