HI,
There is a noise when you change gear but only on 2nd & 3rd gears, it doesn't happen when the car is cold but when has been driven for a while it happens but not all the time, it drives ok apart from this no high revs to indicate clutch is slipping, the car has warranty but the company are saying wear & tear on the syncromesh so not covered a common fault, nothing in small print to state this they have advised I pay to have to have the car inspected & if a part is broken they'll cover the cost but if worn.
Any help appreciated.

Could check the gearbox level is o.k and top up if needed . If wear on synchro hub , normal for those companies to reject any claim unless something has broke , especially with a 10 yr old car . Often the case something has to fail for you to have any chance with those warranties
