2005 Renault Clio speedo drops to zero, losing power

Refer to your ref 19992. Same problem. About 3 times per week suddenly Clio loses about 30 per cent of its power, speedo needle drops to zero andhas an effect on the power steering. Local Renault dealers in South Africa cannot assist. I think I have spent more than enough on Renault advice. PLEASE assist me. Ronnie.

More than one system fitted to these but the speedo loss leads me to believe it's Marelli.
So being that I'd be load testing the power and grounds to the ECU so grounds are ECU terminals 12/13 and 14.
powers are through fuse #5 and #1 to terminals bc 3c.
and the brake pedal switch is a possible too.
Might be better to get an autospark in.
