No power to and from distibuter power pack and won,t start

try unplugging and then plugging back in the crank sensor its near the top of the gearbox where it joins the engine. can be awkward to unplug somestimes so move the connector whilst some one else cranks the key

common fault with the clio is the crank sesor, wont show on a fault code check. East fit, just 2 -10mm bolts and a clip together plug.

On the n/s of the engine compartment there is a box containing various relays thers is an earth wire for the ecu that comes out of the bottom of the relay box and runs around above the gearbox pull of the loom protecting plastic and lightly pull on the wires this wire corrodes and then breaks about half way along the ecu needs this connection to start the car hope this helps
