I have a renault clio 1.2 16v 2007 model
The speedometer sometimes just goes off to zero when driving then the power steering becomes a bit hard and the car kind of jerks....after going a little it all suddenly starts working again....the mechanic can't really say what it is any help will be appreciated thanks

Get your battery and alternator load tested would be a good start off point .
