2005 Renault Clio destructive misfire

I have owned my car for 4 months, recently the exhaust gas management light has come up whilst idling, (about a min after a Ticking sound comes from engine - timing maybe?) i have taken it back to Renault three times and they just keep on replacing the plugs (three times) Has anyone heard of this / know a solution to this problem?
