2002 Renault Clio will not start

on my last drive the service and air bag lights came on,when i went to use my car again it would not start,if i put the car in first gear and turn the key with clutch out it will bump start itself and drive

ok i would assume that because the car bump starts that it could be a battery fault which you should get drop tested at any motor factors to see if the battery is at fault ie cells down and you havnt said whether this problem is there all the time ie when the car is warm does it still need bump starting because if it does then the problem is the starter motor that is faulty
