Sudden loss of power, trouble starting, engine light, sensor & coil lights

Car suddenly loses power when driving and has trouble starting. The sensor, coil and engine lights come on and when I depress the accelerator it actually slows the car down...

I went to a garage who suggested that it needed new plugs, filters etc. so I put it in for a full service.... No change.

I then went to an alternative garage who used the diagnostic computer to determine a faulty TPS, nothing else wrong. Went ahead and had this changed.... No change.

This has now cost me over £200 with no improvement whatsoever!

PLEASE HELP!!!

I am guessing, but some food for thought. It sounds more like the coil pack is breaking down and/or plug leads. Hopefully someone on here with more experience can help more.

My son had this problem last week we changed the plugs.then we changed the leads and this seems to have cured his problem
