2003 Renault Clio fuel or emissions

Hi..pls can someone help!!2 months ago my car started loosing power..egg smell coming out of it and the fan running when engine off..called the aa out..the diagnostic showed a fule problem (wasnt burning off properly) or emissions...they said the first port of call would be to do the sensor..which i have had done and hasnt changed a thing..iam at a loss where to go from here,and worried re cost etc.be greatful of any advice pls

The egg smell would be from the CAT ( catylitic convertor ) on the exhaust .If the fan is running all the time , usually a sign of overheating . First check the coolant level .Losing power could be a plug , plug lead or coil pack ( whatever is fitted on that model )breaking down . If not firing on all cyls . this affects CAT due to unburnt fuel .
