Hi my problem is my clio,I can be driveing then all of a sudden it will go into fast reves as if you had pulled the choce up to about 2000 or more if I put my foot on the accelerater it dies down then cuts out altogether and then takes a while to start.

Sounds throttle related or if car has idle control valve may require cleaning firstly,and other is to check fault codes.
