Car wont start

recently my gf brought a car which for its age is in good condition but since shes had it, it keeps going dead, i then used my car and some jump leads to gain somepower into it we then drove around for up too 1 hour it was then left over night when my gf drove it to my house the car went dead when she arrived so i then went to have a look it wouldnt start i the removed the cd player then went back a few mins later then it started up could it be the cd player making the battery go dead ??

thats a strange one but all i can suggest is that you check all the underbonnet earths as a bad earth would cause these problems you are getting and have the alternator checked as this may have a intermittant fault
