Heater stopped blowing on any setting

2002 Renault Clio 1.2 Authentique
Car: Renault Clio

Variant: 1.2 Authentique
Categories: Leaks & Noises
Garage replaced resistor but still doesn't work. Now want to charge £200+ to fit new motor.

Wondering if they have got it right and how I could do this myself.

The heater resistor pack is the most common cause of this and is probably why your "mechanic" replaced it. However proper diagnosis of the fault needs to be carried out before randomly replacing any more parts. Check with a voltmeter or even a bulb and some wire if you have power getting to the blower motor connector. If you have the the motor probably is at fault, if not check the resistor pack again, the heater switches and any relevant fuses.
