when i try to direct my fan to just the windscreen the dial wont go around, is this easy to fix or is it going to be a pain??? is it a mechanic type job?

Dont know set up on that car , but sounds like heater control flap cable faulty . Have to trace back to flap to see what is jamming / causing fault .On some cars usually can see from inside footwell .
