hi can anyone help, my car wen driving and coming 2 a junction, it crunches into 1st gear, it wont let me put it into neutral unles i press the brake, only 2 irritate cars behind me, is there anyway i can disconect the need 2 hav 2 press the brake, thanks

sounds like you are trying to get it into 1st at too high a speed. Generally you need to be below about 4mph for it to slip into 1st.
