2002 Renault Clio car wont idle when warm

hiya my clio is giving me gib,when its cold it will start and idle ok but as soon as it warms up it will rev up then drop,rev up then cut out,,after the car warms up the starter moter seems to jam also,,car was running fine till i left it on the drive for a week to do some body repairs,,,any help would be greatley appreciated as thi has now cost me a fortune to get sorted,,,thanks

allso my engine managment light stays on lol

A scan for any faults would help to pinpoint the problem.

Check for any vacuum leaks or inlet manifold leaks . Could try cleaning idle air control valve / throttle housing/body and the breather pipes.

When were the spark plugs last replaced? you could try cleaning and regapping them.
