radio antenna was hit my a football an snapped off , now i cant find any radio stations when searching , i bought new antenna in screwed in but this hasnt solved then problem , any sugestion other than payin out alot to a garage? thanks

have you tried finding a station manually without using the auto scan. and if so what is the reception like. you should get reception with or without a aerial mast.the part that the mast screws into may be damaged internally ie: broken wire.
