2020 Renault Captur clutch failure

Could check fluid level , but should be covered by Renault warranty if any component failure . Worth giving your dealership a call .

Did you ever find an outcome to your clutch issue as, we have suffered similar after 13k miles

Never been back with update since posting 6 months ago

I've a 70 plate 1.5 DCI and this has now happened to me at 17k miles - AA think it is a manufacturer fault and not worn clutch given age and mileage - we shall see what renault say when they receive the car as I am currently 100 miles from home...

Age and mileage mean nothing with clutch . AA man or anyone else cannot say what cause is until it's checked / stripped down .If mechanical failure of clutch component , may be subject to warranty

Renault have just confirmed it's a fault in the clutch master cylinder - thankfully a warranty replacement

Simple job to replace master cyl. , good they are replacing under warranty , Thank you for updating the forum .
