1995 Renault 5 water in boot/trunk

My Renault runabout has a pool of water permanently in the boot. The boot lid has a good seal, and locks and opens properly. I have no sun roof and the footwells are perfectly dry. Can someone please tell me how to stop water collecting in the boot?

Check rear light clusters , if not that get in boot whilst someone outside hoses car and see where water is entering .
