Power steering belt

need to know how to replace power steering belt. i have bought the belt and tried to prize it over the two pulleys but it is so tight, is there a technique to this?

have a good look on how the belt is located on all the pulleys and remove the belt there is a tensioner that will require undoing either with a spanner or a socket but look and locate this tensioner and under and remove belt and then replace in reverse after you have compared the belts as there a different sizes of belts if the belt is sligthly bigger ie about a inch then this is due to the belt being streched over the years and the new one will fit better and tighter as its new hope this helps you out
