a warning light comes on periodically cant find anything in manuel about it its a trumpet shape with the word auto under it when this comes on tha car sounds like its driving in the wrong gear do i need to take it to garage as when i stop the car and then restart the warning light goes off and does,nt come back on for the rest of the journey.

that was an over sight it,s a renault laguna 1.9 automatic petrol 2004 sorry dont know how to use this sight it,s my first time

The light is an electronic incident light, i.e. your engine management has detected an electronic fault in the auto gearbox. Could be something simple like ATF needing topped up .You need to get it scanned to see what fault is .
