Auto gear light popping up

I owned a Renault Kangoo 1.4 auto. Recently the auto light keeps coming up and when this happens, the van looses power. I stopped the van and re ignite it, the light disappeared and after driving a short distant, it pops up again. Please help.

I would get the codes read theres a fault thats bringing on limp mode and your restting it when you stop ,re-start the vehicle.

Hi auto gearbox fault for shure.
Needs to be scanned to confirm.
sound like oil pressure fault internally.
Can you confirm auto gearbox type i.e DPO
If the scan test come up with a pressure regulation fault internally there is a fix.
(most of the time it will be a EVM valve that need replacing and gearbox computor re programme)
