2010 Proton Gen 2 brake light fuse keeps blowing

Car: Proton Gen 2
Year: 2010
Variant: 1.6
Categories: Leaks & Noises
My brake light fuse keeps blowing. I think the blowing of the fuse may be linked to the central locking which is activated as soon as i press the brake. I can unlock the central locking by a botton on the door and i think when i press this to let someone in or out of the car it trips the fuse and then i have no brake lights.

I don't know if this is a simple fix or a big job. The garage i brought my car from no longer exists as they sold up, and because i was 2 months late getting my service, my warranty is reportedly invalid, so i concerned about the cost of getting this repaired and obviously the safety, more importantly.

Check to make sure there are no bare wires that maybe shorting out by the rear light cluster and also in the rubber sleeve in the door jam of the drivers door...
