2008 Peugeot 807 no sound from the indicators

The indicators work perfectly in that the lights go on and off (both inside and out), but there is no clicking noise when they are on. They are perfectly silent when on. Any ideas as to how I can get the sound back ?

sounds like the comm unit is faulty.

Hi, there is a small sounder unit or speaker under the indicator switch assembly. This speaker is part of the switch assembly and if it has failed; you will probably need a new switch. They are megabucks to buy; so you may learn to live without a sounder. I think you can buy an aftermarket kit from car accessory stores that will do
