Changed the faulty fuel gauge however after a while without warning fuel seems to cut off & engine stops

Car: Peugeot 807
Year: 2004
Variant: 2.o petrol auto

Lack of fuel resulting in engine cut off fuel pump replaced do not get any warning lights just cuts out like fuel starvation

Assuming it's got a fuel filter , try changing that
