2009 Peugeot 807 brake lights always on

started as intermittent ,they would stay on for a few seconds at a time but progressively got longer and now on constantly have checked microswitch on pedal and brake light switch and checked all fuses, van has abs

Brake lamp function is you checked from the pedal switch,
from there the "signal" goes to the BSI,
which in turn sends V to the lamps.
So either a BSI fault or wiring short to Pos + in the brake lamp wire harness.
If you have access to "Daigbox" scan the BSI.
