2003 Peugeot 807 turbo problem

Car: Peugeot 807
Year: 2003
Variant: 2.0 hdi
Categories: Leaks & Noises
my car is pumping out white smoke, there is a rattle coming from the engine, i have an error message saying coolant to low and oil pressure insufficient. i have found an oil leak from the oil outlet on the turbo looks ike a seal has gone hence the oil pressure, i can only assume the rattle is the seized bearing in the turbo. but wh would this cause smokefrom exhaust and when changing the turbo do i need to clean or change anything else ie intercooler or pipes.

many thanks

If losing coolant and white smoke , I would get a block test carried out first to check head / gasket .

so what about the bad oil leak from the turbo, there is no signs of head gasket though.

You may have more than one fault if turbo knackered .White smoke can be unburnt fuel or water blowing out the exhaust . You said coolant low message was on , with white smoke , that indicates possible head gasket . Might not be that , might be turbo as you suggest , just an opinion .
