Unknown Noise ?

2004 Peugeot 807 2.2 dci executive
Car: Peugeot 807
Year: 2004
Variant: 2.2 dci executive
Categories: Electrics, ECU, Warnings & Lights
When I'm driving my car it will make a noise which I can only describe as the sound you hear when someone is on a monitor in hospital & it's like :- Boooo. I know you are probably thinking what the heck is this woman going on about but it's the only way I can describe it & I wondered if anyone else out there has heard the same noise & what is that car trying to make me aware of as nothing shows up on the dashboard I:e :- No Engine Management light or any other light comes on.

It could happen once then nothing, but then it could happen loads of time in a row ??

Hope someone can help :)

Sorry if I sound like a bumbling twit :)

Do you have roof bars? if so it may be due to the position of these. I noticed this on my 807 and found that it was due to position and speed I was travelling at.If they are the Peugeot ones they need to be together at the back of the rails. If they're not peugeot take them off when not in use.
