1998 Peugeot 406 accelerator not working while in motion, jerking on gear 2, shaft making noise on reverse mode and it goes off at every 3-4minutes of drive.

I have a very seriously problem with my peugeot 406 1.8 engine and it is a petrol engine. It jerks when ever am making a turn on a high slope ground especially on gear 2, also whenever am motion it goes off no matter the speed i will have to park at side of the road and start the engine before it responds and that is always not up to 4 minutes interval. what do i do? Also when it is on reverse mode i hear strange sound from the shaft. please a need a quick reply on what to do. [email protected]
