My 406 creaks and clunks from the front o/s. I have checked all the bushes springs, shock absorber they all look fine and are not loose when I apply a pry bar to them. very confused?????

Has the spring broken at the top?

I found the problem, I noticed a very small amount of shiny metal at the engine mount where it bolts to the chassis, it was a tiny bit loose, I simply tightened up the fitting into the chassis and then retightened the top bolt and it was fine.
