1998 Peugeot 406 air conditioning blower and on switch not working. fuses are o.k.

Although blower motor has been replaced recently, blower is now not working along with the a.c. switch and in car air circulation switch on the dash. Examination shows fuses are o.k. but not power is reaching them. Before this problem arose, when the key was removed from the ignition it was very warm and fault was shown when the car was restarted.

have you checked the voltage regulator? I had same problem on my Passat which was cured by renewing the voltage reg which had gotten wet.
