1996 Peugeot 406 engine start!!!

Car keeps turning over until battery has gone flat.. Once i have recharged it the car will start.. Have replaced glow plugs but still the same.. HELP!!

there is a diesel pump to bring the diesel from the tank to your engine.you will hear it bring the diesel up if you listen. in my 406 i had to replace it and my mechanic said they need replaced around every 100000 miles. it is under your back seat in the car behind the drivers side it costs around £120.
