2000 Peugeot 406 engine cuts out

engine cuts out with no warning whilst I'm driving think it could be the solinoid but not sure changed the fuel n air filters, my local garage said that would sort it but it still cuts out the garage said they could look at the solinoid but its costing me a fortune PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP!!!

Possible a fuel pressure problem had the same prob and i was told by a garage it was a fuel pressure prob. I then replaced the common rail and it seemed to b fine !! but it might not be that on yours !! but definately sounds like a similiar prob many thanks.
