1999 Peugeot 406 indicators not working

The indicators either work or they do not,I have had cars before when the flasher unit goes and the light either stays on or goes very slow.Mine either work fine or they do not ?

hi check fuses if ok then check indicator bulbs and earths

If not as "andrew slevin " suggests , indicator stalk could be fault . See here ,
