Clicking/knocking noise from behind dashboard

Over the last couple of weeks, when I start my car up, there is a clicking/knocking sound coming from behind the left hand side of the dash. It normally last about 10-20 seconds and doesn't happen every time. It sounds as if there could possibly be some sort of fan motor hitting on something, or could it be to do with the airbag?

Sounds as if it could be the electrical control unit for the recirculating air flap.
