Good Cold Start and poor Warm Start

My peugeot 406 HDI, 1999 start very well when its cold but fails or hardly starts when it gets warm a bit or at operation temperature.Please help.

If I had this in now I'd start with scan data on the fuel rail pressure.
And Id be looking for 200 bar plus.
And if it was low then I'd run an injector leak back test.
I did have one in a few years back that had an injector go bad after about 12 min's,
the odd thing was once the injector cooled it began to operate as normal.
Diesel in HDI systems get VERY hot,
And HDI injectors are very sensitive.
The fuel rail pressure test will point in the direction to test.

Also , checked / cleaned / replaced crank sensor ?

sounds like a dodgy coolant thermistor to me
