2003 Peugeot 406 deadlocks coming on when car is started

Just purchased vehicle.Open the car with the remote,put key in ignition,start car,deadlocks operate,cant get out by useing door handle.Press unlock on remote and deadlocks go off.
If i start car with drivers door open deadlocks operate but dont stay on.
any ideas please

Anti hi-jack system has been turned on. Take a look in the owners manual on how to turn it off if you wish...

read the car handbook but there is no reference to the anti hi jack system.Any suggestions as to where to find that information

In the car you should have a button with the picture of a padlock.
With the engine running, hold down the button untill you hear an audible sound and then the anti hi-jack system should be turned off...

I cannot find a button with that symbol on.The car was reg jan 2003 so maybe there is another solution.

Try pressing and holding the unlock button on the remote with the engine running...

I have tried pressing the unlock button when the engine is running but it has not solved the problem.
However what i have discovered is that if i do not lock the car with the remote control i can get in and start the car and everything is ok.
I have read somewhere elso to disconnecy the battery for 30mins+ to see if that solves it.
Not tried that yet.
Any further suggestions would be most welcome
